Don't miss

The brief
Max Kellerman hosts solo, surveying Week 1 through the San Francisco Rams upset in Australia and Drake Maye’s late collapse against Seattle.
The Niners’ victory and Maye’s finish create contrasting opening-week signals: one team seizing an unexpected moment, another losing control late.
Kellerman previews every Week 1 matchup that matters and uses mailbag questions to examine young coaches and quarterbacks under early pressure.
The episode widens beyond football with discussion of the DOJ’s Clippers investigation and a preview of Ryan Garcia’s fight with Conor Benn.
The standout tension is whether Week 1 reveals durable truths or merely produces the first wave of overreactions about teams and young stars.
