What's free?
The free plan plays the featured shows, with transcripts and highlights. Subscribing to any other show takes Plus. Pro raises the limits and includes all of Trends.
How does episode processing work?
When you subscribe to a podcast, every new episode it releases is processed automatically: the transcript, the summary and everything the agent needs, waiting for you by the time you listen. Listening itself is never capped, on any plan.
What about older episodes?
Automatic processing covers new episodes released after you subscribe. Older episodes can be processed on demand, within your plan's monthly allowance. Your plan also sets how many shows you can subscribe to.
Can I use PodLume without processing an episode?
You can browse, discover and listen to episodes that are already processed freely. Transcripts, highlights and the agent need the episode processed, which happens automatically for new releases from the shows you subscribe to.
Does PodLume process the same episode again for every listener?
No. When an episode has already been processed, you get the benefit of that work straight away.
Is there an iPhone app?
Yes, PodLume is on the App Store. The iPhone app has listening, highlights, the agent, Live Activities and more.
What is the agent?
The agent answers questions in plain language across all the episodes in your library, with timestamped citations from the transcripts, so every answer points to where it was said.
