The brief

Sarah Spain opens with WNBA news, including DeWanna Bonner’s move to Atlanta and record attention around the Indiana Fever–Chicago Sky game.

Stephanie Dolson discusses mentoring Seattle’s young players, extending her career while her body feels strong, and the possibility of moving into coaching.

Dolson and Spain confront the costs of rapid growth: fans who provoke players, anti-trans demonstrations, and league leadership that must speak more clearly.

Their debate turns to accountability: teammates can hold different views, but stated intentions do not erase harmful effects or excuse unchanged behavior.

Dolson explains how coming out publicly and embracing her individuality became a form of advocacy, while the show closes by celebrating Lauren Gregory’s trail-running victory.
