Dale Carter joins to make property taxes the central issue in his Jackson County Legislature campaign, arguing that pragmatic deals should strengthen county finances.
The future of the Truman Sports Complex site becomes the practical test: sell or lease county land for data centers and other private development, rather than build publicly.
Carter also outlines a possible Truman County, separating eastern Jackson County into a jurisdiction with different institutions, population patterns, and political leverage.
