Don't miss

The brief
Football’s return drives an Overreaction Monday built around the Rams’ startling defensive premise: Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett now command the same front, with every offense forced to account for both.
Les Snead explains how Los Angeles assembled its defensive stars and why the organization is willing to concentrate resources on elite talent, depth, and multiple-tight-end formations.
Daniel Jeremiah, Adam Schefter, and Dan Orlovsky widen the lens to quarterback depth, contracts, injuries, exempt-list uncertainty, and the emotional stakes of NFL roster cuts.
The Rams–49ers opener in Australia becomes a strategy debate: Los Angeles plans a quick trip, while San Francisco arrives early to manage the international date line and recovery.
The conversation closes by connecting football’s roster pressures to player accountability, college eligibility, Scottie Scheffler’s dominance, and Pat McAfee’s Daytona experience.
