Don't miss
Katie Zachariah’s first briefing collapses when she cannot answer a question about Ukraine intelligence, turning a routine appearance into a symbol of White House disorder.
The brief
Jon Favreau and Tommy Vietor begin with Trump’s violent Truth Social posts and Alaska appearance, examining his campaign messaging, pardons, guests, and attacks on an opposing candidate.
Katie Zachariah’s first White House briefing becomes the episode’s central case study: she cannot answer a Ukraine intelligence question, while her background and credentials draw scrutiny.
The conversation widens to possible limits on Ukraine support, including Starlink, then to Kim Guilfoyle’s exit and reports of feuds, disputed messages, unpaid bills, and a possible tell-all.
Reports that Alina Habba accused Rick Grenell over a multimillion-dollar Kennedy Center donation lead the hosts into broader questions about corruption and misconduct among Trump allies.
The final stretch turns comic and surreal, from Jamie West’s improvised Indiana forum performance to an AI therapy service that cannot count or guide breathing.
A separate alleged spy story completes the arc: a Saudi national reportedly used toilet paper, identification, and ChatGPT while placing listening devices at an OpenAI conference room.
