It is bordered by eight countries, including Greece, Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria. The country is home to a rich cultural heritage and a population of over 86 million people, with Ankara serving as its capital and Istanbul as its largest city.
